These days, we are engaged in providing field support services on behalf of a major Italian client specializing in the design, supply, and installation of technologies for the Pharma sector and the chemical industry. This client has chosen us as a partner for the implementation of an ultrafiltration (UF) section using submerged ZeeWeed membranes.
The installation shown in the photo is located downstream of the biological treatment plant of a pharmaceutical company that discharges 1,500 m³/day of wastewater into a surface water body. The goal is to remove suspended solids not retained by the secondary sedimentation stage, thereby minimizing residual turbidity and enabling the reuse of part of the discharged effluent for internal purposes.
